As a former Combat Officer, Phillip brings a refreshing approach to legal services. He served his country for over a decade and experienced combat firsthand. Phillip does not shy away from conflict and but also has a Masters in Conflict Resolution and Negotiation and is skilled at fixing problems and winning in high-stakes scenarios. Phillip has an outstanding track record in the Ontario courts including multiple victories in the Ontario Court of Appeal. He appears regularly on TV and Radio providing his legal analysis and insights into important issues..
Arthur (Zeeshan) Baig is a seasoned lawyer with nearly a decade of experience specializing in real estate, wills and estates, and corporate law. Called to the Ontario Bar in 2015, he has represented a diverse clientele across the province, earning a reputation for his meticulous attention to detail and proactive prevention of legal issues while seamlessly integrating technology with a personal touch. Recently relocating his practice from Toronto to London to tap into new opportunities while still serving Ontario clients, Arthur provides comprehensive legal services—from handling complex real estate transactions and corporate governance to advising on estate planning. He also mentors future lawyers as an Assessor with the Law Society’s Law Practice Program at Toronto Metropolitan University, and in his personal time, he enjoys exploring legal tech innovations, spending time with his wife, and sharing lighthearted moments with his four lively Sphynx cats.
Sam Chams is a thorough, approachable, and results-driven lawyer who practices Civil Litigation and Corporate Law with dedication and keen attention to detail. Prior to joining Millars Law, Sam completed his licensing with the Canadian Cancer Society in Toronto.
Sam’s academic research has been recognized nationally, earning the prestigious Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council’s top distinction twice. He was also one of only 35 law students across Canada selected as an inaugural fellow by the National General Counsel Network. In addition, Sam has received the Dr. Jeffrey Cormier Award and the Dr. Hugh Mellon Scholarship for policy.
Joeseph Corrie is a Juris Doctor graduate from Griffith University in Australia, where he received an Award for Academic Excellence. He is a dedicated legal professional with a growing interest in criminal law, civil litigation, and corporate law. Currently pursuing his National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) qualifications and preparing for the Ontario Bar exam, Joeseph is committed to helping clients navigate complex legal issues with clarity and care. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his dog, Toby, and staying active at the gym or golfing with friends.
Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Jennifer relocated to London nearly two decades ago and has been a valued member of the Millars Law team. In her role as Office Manager, she oversees the daily operations of the firm while also providing support to the Civil Department, ensuring smooth coordination across all areas of practice.
Outside the office, Jennifer enjoys spending quality time with her son and exploring the outdoors with her German Shepherd, Kash. Whether it’s weekend adventures or simply enjoying the natural beauty of the region, she values the balance between her professional responsibilities and personal life.
Elaine has lived in the London area for most of her life and has been a dedicated member of the Millars Law team for the past five years. As a Senior Law Clerk, she wears many hats within the firm, providing support across departments and contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the practice.
Outside the office, Elaine enjoys spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. During the summer months, you will often find her outdoors tending to her garden and embracing the warm weather.
