Emily Yeow’s international expertise and spectacular intellect make a difference to her clients. Before becoming a lawyer, Emily worked around the world on international business deals involving pharmaceutical/biotechnology, construction, transportation, real estate, and banking. She has lived and worked in Dubai, Edinburgh, and Singapore.
This is a fascinating backdrop behind Emily’s law degree. She is not a conventional lawyer and, instead, relies on her substantial business accomplishments to create outstanding solutions for our clients. Emily has worked on complex negotiations involving private company acquisitions and global clinical trial start-ups in over fifteen different countries worldwide. We are very fortunate that Emily decided to settle in Calgary and bring her expertise to Alberta residents.
Emily’s intellect and experience does not translate into arrogance, the opposite is true. She loves working collaboratively and embraces challenges and high-pressure situations requiring out of the box solutions. She is well regarded by our team, her clients, and counterparties for her ability to carefully resolve contentious issues.
Emily is well respected for her work helping regulated professionals with their estate planning and corporate structures. Her passion is drafting legal documents that make a difference and preempt against the risk of future disputes.
When you hire Emily you are hiring more than a lawyer. You are hiring an outstanding human being who loves her work and her community. Emily recently passed the New York State bar exam (one of the hardest int the United States of America) on the first attempt. This will allow her to practice in the US and provide cross-border representation.
Emily can be reached by email or phone and is pleased to help you with corporate, real estate (residential and commercial) and estate planning.
